    <directions>In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add ham; cook until browned, stirring occasionally. Remove ham with slotted spoon. Add onion, garlic and cumin to same saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes or until onion is translucent. Add black beans and and broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. In blender, purée 1 cup of the soup until smooth; pour back into saucepan. Add lime juice, cilantro and ham; season with salt and hot pepper sauce.</directions>
