Italian Sausage, Green Bean and Garbanzo Soup
Ingredients
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 lb italian sausage, bulk or removed from casing
- 2 cn (14 oz.) chicken broth
- 1 cn (14.5 oz.) libby’s cut green beans, drained
- 1 cn (15 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 cn (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp italian herb mixture
Instructions
In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage; cook, stirring and breaking up sausage with a spoon, until sausage is browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
Tip: Use a mild or spicy Italian sausage, according to your preference.
